groovy coffeehouse. great coffee. great vibe.
I love groovy coffeehouses, but that alone isn't enough to make me rave. Consistently great coffee is a hard requirement, easily met by the Small Town crew. For two weeks last month, STC was a morning fixture for me, first to find the Geocache, then for the coffee, then for the Wifi, and then for the great ambiance. If you're looking for a slick Starbucks experience, there's no need to stop at STC; if you're looking for personality, don't miss it. Allow a few extra minutes to get yer drink since it's not a slam-bam machine; you might actually meet someone worth talking to, anyway. - Dana , posted 08/03/07

A Real Treasure
This is the best coffeehouse ever. They are *deep* into coffee. They can tell you if the beans were shade grown... whatever. And it shows. They have the best coffee I have ever tasted anywhere in the world. Add to that, the owners are truly wonderful people - community oriented, supportive of the arts, positive, loving, open hearted. And they attract (and hire) the like. The vibe is truly sweet. Highly recommended. - Tom , posted 06/05/07

best coffee house ever
beautiful people behind the counter; strange and bizzare regulars with plenty of craziness and joy to share. Musical enjoyment and collabrative energies share this humble-house of organic fair trade fineries....fabulous coco-chile cookies! The kauai chai is really the best! I urge us all to support our local community space! - Rachel Prairie , posted 06/30/06
