"Moose's" in Kihei at 2511 So Kihei Rd is definitely a cut above the long-established Lahaina location. Everything about Moose's in Kihei, the food, presentation, general ambience, etc. is just plain.. "classier". I often order the Garden Salad, topped with a piece of Grilled Mahi Mahi.. easily makes a meal for two... ok... unless you are really famished! They have a pair of pool tables and the walls are totally covered with some of the most amusing photographs. I believe I've been the only live music they've had when I was playing Saturday nights. If you haven't gone by Moose's Kihei, do! Much different than the more well-known Lahaina one. Their sister restaurant, "Fred's" just down stairs serves Mexican food. Both restaurants have daily specials, one day has all-you-can-eat crab... another is early-bird prime rib. Tuesdays is "Kiss My Taco Tuesdays" at Fred's starting at 5pm. $2 tacos.. but be prepared for a looooong line at Fred's on Tuesdays. No reservation taken - Poontangle♂♥♀ , posted 01/15/07 |
