I received a set of the Lightning Strikes heavy silk veils from Jes. I've been choreographing with them, and they're phenomenal. My veil instructor says they're THE perfect veils. They open right up during turns, they're energetic, and they're perfect for fast, complicated veil tricks. They also have that unique A'kai fullness that many heavier veils lack (because the fabric width isn't 55"). I'm blown away. These are the most cooperative, striking, expressive veils yet. I now have two sets of veils, one lightweight Redwood Rainbow (two half circles) and one heavyweight Lightning Strikes (two half circles). They're beyond spectacular! - D'lyse , posted 01/13/08 |
