Worksite: Arlington, Virginia Job Title: Consultant/Analyst Job Duties: Design, develop and calibrate transportation demand forecasting and transportation planning models using various modeling tools including TransCad and Cube/Voyager. Perform transportation network design, coding, and management. Develop custom scripts and programs using Visual Basic and/or the TranPlan/Viper (TP+) programming language to analyze and evaluate alternatives for major investment studies. Perform travel survey design, processing, and analysis. Develop and document findings, recommendations, action plans, and graphs using ArcView. Review analyses, findings, and documents with supervisors. Meet with client staff to present and review analyses and conclusions and to provide technical support. Prepare work proposals and cost estimates. Update project management inputs and maintain progress reports. Review invoices. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Civil Engineering or Transportation, with no experience required. Other requirements include: TransCAD, TranPlan/Viper (Tp+) or Cube/Voyager, ArcView, Visual Basic, and analysis of transportation surveys.
